MILANO MANGA FESTIVAL
An innovative and complex exhibition project at the rotonda della basana in milan.
Iron frames suspending over 500 master manga drawings, specially designed display cases to house original artworks, and self-supporting towers with hundreds of volumes are among the main structures that bring this impressive exhibition to life.
The graphic work, coordination of performances, conferences, and film screenings that illustrate the impact of japanese manga in our society have been equally demanding and part of the exhibition.
The project, strongly supported by adk, one of the prominent communication companies in japan, engaged studio noè for three consecutive years. Subsequent editions were held at the fabbrica del vapore in milan, including the implementation of the matsuri gastronomic fair in collaboration with the association of japanese cooks in italy.
The tremendous public attendance confirmed the true success of this incredible event that brought culture and art directly from the land of the rising sun to us.
